World Geo Project

European Holiday Project

You will be assigned a European nation to study and report on at least two significant holidays.

You must have the following information in the written portion: (minimum 2 typed pages and cite all sources)

  1. Country
  2. Name and date of holiday
  3. Origins of holiday with a brief history
  4. Elaboration of celebration….any special food, clothing, ceremonies
  5. Any connections to holidays in the US

You will be presenting!  Presentation can include poster board or ppt. Be sure to have visuals!!!!  You must submit written portion separate. Feel free to include anything of interest.

Upon completion of test work on SOL book:

Geo complete US/Canada section

WHI complete Classic Civ section

Tests over these areas will be Nov 10/11!!!!  Since you have studied for the benchmark you should be in great shape for this test.

Geo classes…..I know you will be disappointed but no essay.

All classes extra credit!!!!

Have someone help you study for at least 15 minutes for your benchmark test…have them write a note or send me an email!!!!!!
